A total 0f 140 delegates participated in the ITCO 2016 General Meeting on Wednesday 30 November and Thursday 1 December 2016.
The Meeting commenced with a visit to the Container Terminals at Jebel Ali Port, including the new Container Terminal 2. This was followed by a Site Visit to two of the tank container facilities in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone – the Joint Container Services (JTS) depot and the newly developed RSA-Talke facility.
A “Welcome to Dubai” Poolside reception was organised for all delegates in the evening.
Conference Sessions during the morning of the Conference on Thursday 1 December covered a wide range of issues relating to Economic Developments in the Gulf Region, Supply Chain Logistics, SQAS and Depot Facilities.
In the afternoon, the ITCO E-learning Course was formally launched, and will be live later this week. This was followed by the 2016 Annual General Meeting of the Organisation, together with Break-out Sessions for each of the 5 ITCO Divisions.
The Meeting concluded with an Evening Reception and Gala Dinner.
